“Bonnie and Steve were two of the nicest people we’ve ever met. They were incredibly attentive, but also knew when to subtly fade into the background so that our family could have some private family time. They were very accommodating to the needs of the folks on the charter we sailed with, as well. The way Steve was able to get our friend’s elderly parents in and out of the dinghy was amazing. Without him, they would have not had nearly as much fun on the trip.
Paradigm Shift was top notch. Steve and Bonnie seem to take great care of everything, and it shows.
There service was outstanding. They made sure we always had something to eat and/or drink, and that we were happy. I wanted to bring them both home with us! They were very accommodating and creative when it came to fun. Tubing, scuba diving, hiking, paddle boarding, barge bars, you name it. We all had a blast! They worked well as a team and they knew the islands inside and out. They were helpful to other captains and we felt very safe in their hands.
Bonnie was able to take our varied tastes and provide meals that were delicious, creative, and filling. The meals were beautiful, but not over the top. You could tell that Bonnie had professional training and that she cared very much about the quality and presentation of her meals.
We would definitely charter Paradigm Shift again!!

“I can’t say enough good things about Bonnie and Steve Carroll. They are knowledgeable and passionate about their business and just all-around solid, grounded people that want their guests to have a truly special experience. Most people are aware of the damages sustained to the USVI and BVI this past Oct so we left for our Dec trip with some concern that our trip would be affected by all the storm damage. We spent 8 magical days on the Paradym Shift and as I was stepping off the boat on our last day I turned to Bonnie and Steve and simply said that sometimes dreams really do come true!! I also want a special shout out to Bonnie for being an amazing chef!! The quality of the food was unexpected from the relatively tight quarters of a boat galley!! In summary, I highly recommend Vine Yachts and Steve and Bonnie Carroll on the Paradym Shift !! The sign of a fantastic vacation is in stating that my family and I can’t wait to do this again!!!!! I have had the opportunity to be part of groups for day charter on Paradigm Shift with Steve and Bonnie two times. This catamaran is absolutely beautiful. The set up is roomy, neat and decorated beautifully. I have been on other cats and these are the largest staterooms and bathrooms I have seen. The outdoor dining and seating is set up perfectly. So comfortable! They have water activities galore. When it comes time for eating or enjoying a beverage, they spare nothing. Bonnie has creative and delicious snacks and meals and prepares them with ease, making it look easy. The choices in wine, beer and drinks are endless and Bonnie and Steve make sure you always have what you need. They are so easy to be on board with, you will fall in love with them. They are like old friends. They really are so lovely. The conversation flows and the service is easy and second hand to them. They know the areas in the USVI and BVI well and will take you anywhere you can think of. I cannot recommend this luxurious and unpretentious catamaran experience enough.

“I live in the Virgin Islands and I am very picky on boat charters. Steve and Bonnie have the nicest boat in the VI that I have been on. They just arrived to the area with their absolutely beautiful boat and are the new game in town to beat.
We chartered it for a day for a work retreat with my New York office. Our group was 12 . It was fantastic. The boat is new and spotless, Bonnie’s food was outstanding (think high expectations for big-city foodies), and Steve was a great captain, making sure we went to the best places for our group and pulling out all the toys for us throughout the day (tubing, snorkel gear, SUPs, games, etc.)!
I have seen most of the charters in the VI so this review should save a lot of research time. If you like new and clean, high-quality food, the best layout of a catamaran I have seen, and a very professional and fun host couple, this is your boat. I will be taking my family on an overnight charter next.”
