Paradigm Shift is a 50’ St. Francis sailing catamaran, built in South Africa and launched in 2011. Known for their strength, speed, and offshore pedigree, St. Francis catamarans are designed for serious bluewater cruising—with the comfort and elegance of a floating home.
Designed by naval architect Angelo Lavranos, Paradigm Shift blends performance and practicality with upgraded features from the original St. Francis 48. She sails fast and handles beautifully, with a sleek hull design, expanded deck space, and additional buoyancy for a larger tender. The Galley
The fully equipped galley makes life at sea effortless. With a convection oven, stainless steel cooktop and oven, drawer-style refrigerators, ice maker, chest freezer, and ample storage, Kari has everything she needs to craft fresh, delicious meals—morning to night.
The Saloon
The saloon on Paradigm Shift is open, bright, and perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Surrounded by panoramic windows, this comfortable space invites you to unwind with stunning views all around—whether you're enjoying a meal, playing cards, or simply soaking in the sunset.

The Cabins
Paradigm Shift features three guest cabins—two with queen beds and one with a full-size bed that feels just as spacious. Each cabin includes en-suite bathrooms with showers, electric heads, and modern vanities, along with plenty of natural light and ventilation.
Forward-facing hatches and picture windows (just inches above the waterline in the aft cabins) keep the rooms bright, breezy, and connected to the sea around you.
